France Trip Day 1

Hi everyone. For those who’ve tuned into our website earlier, you’d be aware that Burley! Has been selected at Clermont-Ferrand Festival in France. I’m excited to say that I’m on my way over there as we speak.

Right now, I’m flying somewhere over Indonesia, it’s 11˚C outside and happy hour onboard. We’ve only been gone 4 hours, but it’s been a good trip so far… much better than our preparations, which were shaky to say the least. However, the best is yet to come and we arrive in France tomorrow morning.

If all goes well… and I can’t promise anything, I’ll do my best to update the blog on a daily basis, passing on the festival news to everyone that has to stay home and work. I wish I could be there with everyone, but someone has to represent the film!

Our basic itinerary is as follows. Erin (my partner) and I are stopping in Paris for a few days that should be fun. After that, it’s down to Clermont-Ferrand for the 9 days of the festival.

Anyhow… 3 hours until our stopover in Hong Kong. I might be able to fit in another movie in that time. Stay tuned for our next update.
