D. Edwardz (Director)
Dave graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Animation in 2002 with awards for academic excellence. During the course, he directed and animated several short films. His first professional job was on the Disney series, The Proud Family, before moving to a games studio where he animated, created cut scenes, and designed creatures. From 2004 to 2006 Dave devoted his time to the production of Burley!, which he wrote and co-directed. He has since worked as an animator on the Australian series, Animalia.
Gareth Cowen (Director)
Gareth worked on several animated and live-action short films while studying animation in 2000-01 before working as storyboard artist on an animated TV series. He worked as an in-betweener on Disney’s The Proud Family series, and as a concept designer and storyboard artist for a series pilot. Gareth co-directed Burley! in 2004-06, and he has since been working at a games studio as an animator.
Andrew Goode (Producer – Rendition Films)
Since 1995, Andrew has worked as a 3D animator on film and television projects, and as a part-time lecturer/supervisor in computer animation. In 2003, he completed his animated short film, Love Tricycle, and went on to direct a second short film and supervise a series of 10 short films in 2004 before developing the website Short Film Central in 2005. Andrew continues to work as a 3D animator, and Burley! is his second short film as producer for Rendition Films.
